Prefect's Gathering

Sorry for the late update!

Yup, we finally had a Prefect's Gathering for our batch 2 years after "retiring'!! FINALLY :) A HUGEEEEE thank you to those who organize it and make it a success, I'm sure most of us enjoyed the night. So it was held in Italiannies @ Sunway Pyramid at 7.00p.m. on Friday, July 20th 2012. Me, as usual, was fetched by the super kind Vivian, who asked me when can I fetch her back. Haha I really wanted to do so! I will try to fetch u back as soon as possible, okay? :)

So me being me and Vivian being her, we decided to go early to avoid the jam and of course, not be late for an important event. We planned to go out at 4.45p.m, but you know what?? She called me at around 4.10p.m. that day and asked me if I'm ready. LOL! Takkan I say not ready right? Although I was yet to set my hair and all.... Prepare everything in a rush but she wasn't here yet! Phew~~ Haha waited for a while and when she came, off we go!!

We were lucky there was no jam, so we reached there in around 15 minutes. And we were lucky enough to get a nice parking spot! :D BUT UNFORTUNATELY...

When we started walking to the main entrance to meet up with YiLeng and Jia Ying, my wedges gave in halfway!! The bottom part detached itself :( And I definitely can't walk around with it! We went to the nearest shoes-shop, simply picked a pair of wedges and asked the promoter to get my size. She took so long to look for the size I requested. SO LONG that I was frustrated and told her to stop looking. Then, we went in the Payless Shoes Sop (the name is something like that la :P) and there were actually quite a few pairs of nice wedges and heels there. But the prices are so expensive! All RM80++ T_______T Fine lor, then the super-kind Vivian suggested that I change into her pair of wedges first before we continue looking for new shoes. So we went back to her car, I changed into her wedges and continue shopping. We decided to go to the Padini Concept Store and no matter what, must get a pair of shoes there!

So I started shopping, not long after Yi Leng aand Jia Ying arrived! Both were beautiful :) Yi Leng was wearing a black dress! Talking of body shape and sexiness :P And Jia Ying was in a blue blouse with matching color dress, so mature-looking :) Oh and not forgetting Vivian, always looking so tidy and comfortable! Okay, back to shoes-shopping. I tried on a few pairs of heels/wedges, and was quite interested in a few (although the prices are still...) but NONE of them had my size. WHY?!?!?!?!? :'( Then one male promoter saw my frustrated and upset face, and came to me to help. He said that I didn't really need a pair of heels. And you might be asking too, why must I buy heels/wedges? Well first of all, I'm used to wearing them when I hang out with friends and second, I would like to have a new pairs of heels/wedges to replace my spoiled one!

Haiyorrr. Anyway, the promoter said that I should choose a pair of pumps to match my outfit. And to add on, he said:"But your friend over there in black dress should get a pair of black heels." (Referring to Yi Leng) lol. Okay, skip all the hassles and troubles... IN THE END, I get myself a pair of pink pumps cause it was cheap!

We walked around, chatting, laughing and me starting to feel hungry. So we went to Auntie Anne's to buy pretzel! And at around 7p.m., we walked to Italiannies and saw quite a few of them are already there. We joined in, talked and wanting to catch-up with one another's life. The food came quite late, and we talked more than we ate haha. And then it was photo-shoot session!

Dilemma

Miss Kalai kept on reminding us that the topic we choose for persuasive speech must be a dilemma for the audience. But when we write the speech on the dilemma, at least we can Google or research for the win-win solution for it. Now I have a dilemma that I can't google to get answer. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!

Okay, first of all, it is actually no big deal. Friends invited me to join them for a Sabah trip and I would really, REALLY love to go. But just so you know, mum has spent, and is going to spend SO MUCH money on me. And this trip is like what? Plus minus RM1200. T____________T I really feel like going, I have always been envious of my friends who are free to go where they want to, have tonnes of fun with friends and bring home lasting memories. I want that, I want fun, I want experience, I want memories. But I don't want to gain all that in expense of mum hard-earned money.

SO,

TO GO??

OR NOT TO GO?

But I kind of promised my friends to go

And I'm really feeling bad for using mum's money.

Okay, mum said used my own salary. BUT, the salary I earned last sem break was like RM800 only!! Still need more cash from mum.

Date :)

Dated bf again today. Yup I dated him!! Haha I asked him out, but he suggested the venue la :) We went to Publika in Sri Hartamas. It is a very special place, different from all the other shopping malls. There is no crowd, and not full of branded shops, not very big either. But it has this relaxing and comforting feel in it, and it has a lot of dining places that I have never seen before!

So we shopped first, and I bought a necklace from this very nice and special shop!

It sells everything ranging from clothing to accessories to note books and badges. And the merchandises are really, really special! It's as if every single item is specially made for a special person :) And after walking for a while, my stomach started to grumble and we went to Journal by Plan B to have lunch! First time ever I SEE this restaurant, not to mention dining in it. If you are looking for it, it has a lot of old typing machines displaying outside the restaurant. And it plays P. Ramlee movies in it. Same movie playing simultaneously in 3 tv's arranged side by side. LOL for me that's weird. Bf ordered pasta, me burger (again, same as the previous post titled TGIF! :D ) After eating a small portion of the food, I was quite full. No jokes! Bad stomach day, if there's something like that. Bf asked me if I was given a chance, would I go back and dine there again? I said no, I will prefer TGIF lol. But bf prefer this restaurant, different taste ba...

Like I said the shopping mall is small, and we didn't have much to shop for, so we went back home after a while. Played with this very cute 5-year-old girl!!

Silly yet cute and funny girl! Haha I kept telling her, you can't forget me ah. And if she really does not forget me, I will give her chocolate and jelly as rewards! Haha how cute ^.^

Okay, mum just warned me that "I had fun the whole day". MEANING: I had not been studying FOR THE WHOLE DAY.

Okay, tomorrow's gonna be a nerd day!

Family Day

It's Sunday! And it's family day :) Started off the weekend recycling with my parents near my house. OKAY I admit I woke up late, but late is better than never go right! So I helped mum and dad with the old newspaper, unwanted clothes, recyclable plastics and many more. Got all sweaty and tired.

And then, I went back home to my dear computer :P but after that I did study a while! Until aunt came and I bought Yakult from her and we started chatting... Until almost 4 o'clock, dad was back from his rukun tetangga meeting and everyone started to get ready for the family outing!

Out fit for the day :) The black dress is from LuvClothez and it is a bit loose. What I needed to do was to add a belt!

Yeap, dad bought tickets for Ice Age 4!! :D

Our family (dad, mum, 2 bro and I), together with grandma and aunt, when to IOI mall Puchong to watch this :) As usual, there was a hell lot of kids in the hall, but lucky they screamed and laughed at the appropriate moments, haha. It was well, fun and teach you lesson and stuff. And the creature who is ALWAYS after the nut has a little bit more air time than last 3 episodes. Haha he was always the one causing trouble you know! Ummm I'll rate 7/10? It would have been better if they add more laughing materials and drama in it!

After that, before we went for dinner, aunt bought donuts and BABY DONUTS from J. CO Donuts. Look at these baby donuts, sooooooo cute!

So many of them, hehe. Breakfast tomorrow! After reached home from dinner, I helped little bro painted his artwork. I am a terrible painter you know, feel sorry for him. Haha

Today was a fun day, and I really enjoy spending valuable time with the family :)

Parental love ♥

Greetings! :D

So it's Saturday... Like a usual one, I taught a standard 3 boy Malay, and earned some cash for myself, and then I went online, clicking on anything... Nothing interesting happened until evening. I told mum I wanted a pair of shades, and finally, me and mum went t get one today!

Morgan de Toi :)
The color is not really clear here, but yeah :) thanks mummy, ILY <3

Speaking of my parents.. They have always been so supportive. ALWAYS. Although they are really strict, and they are more traditional chinese parents, if you know what I mean, they let me do what I want and intervene in the right moments. When I was small, I had a chance to learn ballet, but because I kept on walking on my toes (my heels are not touching the ground), they dislike it and there ends my ballet life. Lol they could have just told me :P but they are showing me that I can't always get what I want if in the process I might be learning something wrong. However, if it's nothing wrong and it's my choice, they give full support. They always want the best for me. Like studying in Inti, then Drake, this whole thing I decide on my own. They just paid the money, fetched me to school once in a while, and became worried when I planted my head in the books and neglecting health. And now they have to pay a HUGEEEEEEEEEE sum for my studies in the US, I admit I'm not proactive enough in finding scholarship, but they never rush me and never scolded me for wanting them to pay so much money. I am such a bad girl, but I really feel their love and I'm really feeling guilty for it. Mum had spent a lot of money this year, since we visited China and the ceiling and the roof of my house had been kind of rebuilt, but she is willing to buy me this expensive shades. She is also planning to organize a buffet dinner as my farewell + my brother's birthday celebration. Awwww mum...

So I keep on telling myself, I must be successful in the future, and pay back what my parents have given me, although I can never clear my debt in this lifetime. In any lifetime. I will never forget what I get from you, mum and dad, and I will always, always love you both. Please just wait for a few years, until I have the ability to let you feel this little but invaluable pleasures in life.

Thank you.
