Oh hey! I forgot to post -.-

LOL.

SO! Exams are over :DDD But hor, I am even busier than before exams. Since kakak went back to Indonesia for Puasa + Hari Raya, I have officially become the "housemistress" in my house. Woke up every day to do house chores: Wash, hang, keep and fold the clothes, help mum cook lunch and dinner, tidy the yard...... Really, before-exam time was SO MUCH relaxing then now!

Mum's great plan for me:
6.00a.m: Wake up, wash clothes, hang them dry and wash the cups etc.
7.00a.m: Follow her to "pasar", buy breakfast for everyone
9.00a.m: Help her out in the tuition center
5.00p.m: Go back home to cook dinner

WALAO. So overestimating me! I mean, it looks easy, but her plan actually includes little things like sweeping and mopping the floor, washing dishes, tidying house... All these can add up to make you really really tired!

Now, to the updates on my life

Exams were not too tough, just hoping for the best. I watched Batman!! :D

Okay I seriously wanted to blog. But my blogging mood is suddenly ruined. Wanna know why?

I don't want to tell you :P

Okay la, cause my best friends cant come to my farewell party :(

How sad right?

Sigh.

p.s. sorry for the mood swing. Will come back soon.

Kids

I've met, dealt with and taught a lot of kids for my age. I mean I'm only 19! Can't compare with the teachers of course, but I've been tutoring younger kids in my mum's tuition center for almost 7 years? Yeah, but nah, I actually like teaching them, with the conditions that they are willing to learn and won't try to piss me off!

So there's this Standard 3 kids who parent want to celebrate his birthday in mum's tuition center today. I actually like the parents to do this (celebrating theirs kids birthday at mum"s place) because I love to eat cake! Repeat: I LOVE EATING CAKEEEEE :D So I took care of the preparation and all while waiting for them to finish their tuition work.

The oh-so-famous Angry Bird!

The cake :D :D haha!

Singing the Happy Birthday song
Present from mum :)
Haha ya, mum gave him a book! With Angry Bird sticker on it okay :P

Some kids are really so cute that I can't help but to play and have fun with them. Some are so 伶牙俐齿 you want to tease them and make them speechless. But some are so annoying that you feel like strangling and slapping and snatching off their heads! Kids nowadays *shake head*

And my lil bro is the combination of all! He can be cute and adorable, and the next minute the devil that make u wanna scream at him and make him see the logic. But here's one funny video of him:

Teehee :P enjoy!

Prefect's Gathering

Sorry for the late update!

Yup, we finally had a Prefect's Gathering for our batch 2 years after "retiring'!! FINALLY :) A HUGEEEEE thank you to those who organize it and make it a success, I'm sure most of us enjoyed the night. So it was held in Italiannies @ Sunway Pyramid at 7.00p.m. on Friday, July 20th 2012. Me, as usual, was fetched by the super kind Vivian, who asked me when can I fetch her back. Haha I really wanted to do so! I will try to fetch u back as soon as possible, okay? :)

So me being me and Vivian being her, we decided to go early to avoid the jam and of course, not be late for an important event. We planned to go out at 4.45p.m, but you know what?? She called me at around 4.10p.m. that day and asked me if I'm ready. LOL! Takkan I say not ready right? Although I was yet to set my hair and all.... Prepare everything in a rush but she wasn't here yet! Phew~~ Haha waited for a while and when she came, off we go!!

We were lucky there was no jam, so we reached there in around 15 minutes. And we were lucky enough to get a nice parking spot! :D BUT UNFORTUNATELY...

When we started walking to the main entrance to meet up with YiLeng and Jia Ying, my wedges gave in halfway!! The bottom part detached itself :( And I definitely can't walk around with it! We went to the nearest shoes-shop, simply picked a pair of wedges and asked the promoter to get my size. She took so long to look for the size I requested. SO LONG that I was frustrated and told her to stop looking. Then, we went in the Payless Shoes Sop (the name is something like that la :P) and there were actually quite a few pairs of nice wedges and heels there. But the prices are so expensive! All RM80++ T_______T Fine lor, then the super-kind Vivian suggested that I change into her pair of wedges first before we continue looking for new shoes. So we went back to her car, I changed into her wedges and continue shopping. We decided to go to the Padini Concept Store and no matter what, must get a pair of shoes there!

So I started shopping, not long after Yi Leng aand Jia Ying arrived! Both were beautiful :) Yi Leng was wearing a black dress! Talking of body shape and sexiness :P And Jia Ying was in a blue blouse with matching color dress, so mature-looking :) Oh and not forgetting Vivian, always looking so tidy and comfortable! Okay, back to shoes-shopping. I tried on a few pairs of heels/wedges, and was quite interested in a few (although the prices are still...) but NONE of them had my size. WHY?!?!?!?!? :'( Then one male promoter saw my frustrated and upset face, and came to me to help. He said that I didn't really need a pair of heels. And you might be asking too, why must I buy heels/wedges? Well first of all, I'm used to wearing them when I hang out with friends and second, I would like to have a new pairs of heels/wedges to replace my spoiled one!

Haiyorrr. Anyway, the promoter said that I should choose a pair of pumps to match my outfit. And to add on, he said:"But your friend over there in black dress should get a pair of black heels." (Referring to Yi Leng) lol. Okay, skip all the hassles and troubles... IN THE END, I get myself a pair of pink pumps cause it was cheap!

We walked around, chatting, laughing and me starting to feel hungry. So we went to Auntie Anne's to buy pretzel! And at around 7p.m., we walked to Italiannies and saw quite a few of them are already there. We joined in, talked and wanting to catch-up with one another's life. The food came quite late, and we talked more than we ate haha. And then it was photo-shoot session!

Group photo! Sorry for the lighting :(

It was a happy day. After we bought this necklace, we went to eat Snowflake. And then we shopped for a while, bought Gong Cha to drink. See see?? How can I no be happy! Hahahaha :D

Aiya I lazy d it's such a long post. All in all, these 2 days were great, but I need to focus on my studies already!! Like seriously.

Dilemma

Miss Kalai kept on reminding us that the topic we choose for persuasive speech must be a dilemma for the audience. But when we write the speech on the dilemma, at least we can Google or research for the win-win solution for it. Now I have a dilemma that I can't google to get answer. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!

Okay, first of all, it is actually no big deal. Friends invited me to join them for a Sabah trip and I would really, REALLY love to go. But just so you know, mum has spent, and is going to spend SO MUCH money on me. And this trip is like what? Plus minus RM1200. T____________T I really feel like going, I have always been envious of my friends who are free to go where they want to, have tonnes of fun with friends and bring home lasting memories. I want that, I want fun, I want experience, I want memories. But I don't want to gain all that in expense of mum hard-earned money.

SO,

TO GO??

OR NOT TO GO?

But I kind of promised my friends to go
.
.
.
.

.
.
.
.
And I'm really feeling bad for using mum's money.

Okay, mum said used my own salary. BUT, the salary I earned last sem break was like RM800 only!! Still need more cash from mum.

Date :)

Dated bf again today. Yup I dated him!! Haha I asked him out, but he suggested the venue la :) We went to Publika in Sri Hartamas. It is a very special place, different from all the other shopping malls. There is no crowd, and not full of branded shops, not very big either. But it has this relaxing and comforting feel in it, and it has a lot of dining places that I have never seen before!

So we shopped first, and I bought a necklace from this very nice and special shop!

It sells everything ranging from clothing to accessories to note books and badges. And the merchandises are really, really special! It's as if every single item is specially made for a special person :) And after walking for a while, my stomach started to grumble and we went to Journal by Plan B to have lunch! First time ever I SEE this restaurant, not to mention dining in it. If you are looking for it, it has a lot of old typing machines displaying outside the restaurant. And it plays P. Ramlee movies in it. Same movie playing simultaneously in 3 tv's arranged side by side. LOL for me that's weird. Bf ordered pasta, me burger (again, same as the previous post titled TGIF! :D ) After eating a small portion of the food, I was quite full. No jokes! Bad stomach day, if there's something like that. Bf asked me if I was given a chance, would I go back and dine there again? I said no, I will prefer TGIF lol. But bf prefer this restaurant, different taste ba...

Like I said the shopping mall is small, and we didn't have much to shop for, so we went back home after a while. Played with this very cute 5-year-old girl!!

Silly yet cute and funny girl! Haha I kept telling her, you can't forget me ah. And if she really does not forget me, I will give her chocolate and jelly as rewards! Haha how cute ^.^

Okay, mum just warned me that "I had fun the whole day". MEANING: I had not been studying FOR THE WHOLE DAY.

Okay, tomorrow's gonna be a nerd day!

Family Day

It's Sunday! And it's family day :) Started off the weekend recycling with my parents near my house. OKAY I admit I woke up late, but late is better than never go right! So I helped mum and dad with the old newspaper, unwanted clothes, recyclable plastics and many more. Got all sweaty and tired.

And then, I went back home to my dear computer :P but after that I did study a while! Until aunt came and I bought Yakult from her and we started chatting... Until almost 4 o'clock, dad was back from his rukun tetangga meeting and everyone started to get ready for the family outing!

Out fit for the day :) The black dress is from LuvClothez and it is a bit loose. What I needed to do was to add a belt!

Yeap, dad bought tickets for Ice Age 4!! :D

Our family (dad, mum, 2 bro and I), together with grandma and aunt, when to IOI mall Puchong to watch this :) As usual, there was a hell lot of kids in the hall, but lucky they screamed and laughed at the appropriate moments, haha. It was well, fun and teach you lesson and stuff. And the creature who is ALWAYS after the nut has a little bit more air time than last 3 episodes. Haha he was always the one causing trouble you know! Ummm I'll rate 7/10? It would have been better if they add more laughing materials and drama in it!

After that, before we went for dinner, aunt bought donuts and BABY DONUTS from J. CO Donuts. Look at these baby donuts, sooooooo cute!

So many of them, hehe. Breakfast tomorrow! After reached home from dinner, I helped little bro painted his artwork. I am a terrible painter you know, feel sorry for him. Haha

Today was a fun day, and I really enjoy spending valuable time with the family :)

Parental love ♥

Greetings! :D

So it's Saturday... Like a usual one, I taught a standard 3 boy Malay, and earned some cash for myself, and then I went online, clicking on anything... Nothing interesting happened until evening. I told mum I wanted a pair of shades, and finally, me and mum went t get one today!

Morgan de Toi :)
The color is not really clear here, but yeah :) thanks mummy, ILY <3

Speaking of my parents.. They have always been so supportive. ALWAYS. Although they are really strict, and they are more traditional chinese parents, if you know what I mean, they let me do what I want and intervene in the right moments. When I was small, I had a chance to learn ballet, but because I kept on walking on my toes (my heels are not touching the ground), they dislike it and there ends my ballet life. Lol they could have just told me :P but they are showing me that I can't always get what I want if in the process I might be learning something wrong. However, if it's nothing wrong and it's my choice, they give full support. They always want the best for me. Like studying in Inti, then Drake, this whole thing I decide on my own. They just paid the money, fetched me to school once in a while, and became worried when I planted my head in the books and neglecting health. And now they have to pay a HUGEEEEEEEEEE sum for my studies in the US, I admit I'm not proactive enough in finding scholarship, but they never rush me and never scolded me for wanting them to pay so much money. I am such a bad girl, but I really feel their love and I'm really feeling guilty for it. Mum had spent a lot of money this year, since we visited China and the ceiling and the roof of my house had been kind of rebuilt, but she is willing to buy me this expensive shades. She is also planning to organize a buffet dinner as my farewell + my brother's birthday celebration. Awwww mum...

So I keep on telling myself, I must be successful in the future, and pay back what my parents have given me, although I can never clear my debt in this lifetime. In any lifetime. I will never forget what I get from you, mum and dad, and I will always, always love you both. Please just wait for a few years, until I have the ability to let you feel this little but invaluable pleasures in life.

Thank you.

TGIF! :D

Hello people I'm  here again! Haha yeah so me, when I blog I keep blogging, when I don't blog i don't blog for a long time :P So.. I FINALLY MET UP WITH THE BF TODAY! :DDDD There's totally nothing for YOU to be excited about, I know, but this is my blog, heh!

So our usual routine: I went to college, he picked me up after class and off we went to Sunway Pyramid! Made a last minute decision to watch movie.. And chose to watch BRAVE!

In case you have not watched it, it's a story surrounding a princess and her family. And of course, the lesson to learn is to be Brave (very obviously), and that we all can change our own fate. Not bad, I'll rate a 7.5/10. It's not bad, but not amazing enough, so the marks :P

Then it's the usual question: Where to eat?! He chose Sushi, but there was such a long queue outside Zanmai (and I met some college mates there) so we decided to go for what I have chosen: T.G.I. Friday's! He ordered pasta and recommended me to ordered burger and we would share them. And the burger was so delicious!! YUM YUM~~~ :D the pasta was so so, maybe because I ate the burger first :P Strongly recommend you all to try that if you had not!! It's called Tennessee Burger :) Dear, can we go back and eat again? Haha!

And after shopping for a while, I gave up cause I can't find the shades OR the shirt with American flag I saw in Forever 21 the other day :( Ended up buying a necklace only. Then we went home! And I saw that my parcel had arrived!! :D Yeap, I bought clothes online the other day and they are here! Tried it on... The first piece was nice, the quality is not bad and the belt is not too loose for me. The second piece was a bit loose, but I think  it'll be better when I add a belt. *No pictures yer* I bought it from LuvClothez, the price is really reasonable and you don't have to worry about the quantity :)

And this is what bf got for me from Australia!

Quite a lot <3 the yellow thing with kangaroo on the bottom right hand corner is a recycle bag!! He bought it for me so that every time when I shop, I don't have to get new plastic bags. Such a good boy right? :D

I think that my layout is a bit kid-like, but just bear with it until I get a nicer one, okay? :)

Til then!

Being alone in the CAE is... normal. I mean, what do you expect when you have friends who like to skip class for whatever reason it is :P But being myself, it just feels great. I mean, I don't just do what others do, I decide for myself and it is really cool how I got to control my own life and not just follow what others do (being a bit sentimental here, lol).

Went to take my injection today! It was the last required injection by the university so, I'M DONE! :D I have never been afraid of injection, it's just inserting a needle into your arms or somewhere else on your body and then let the vaccine in. What is so scary about it? I admit, it is a little bit painful, but just that little bit!! So for people out there who fear injection, relax~~~~ :P :P

Oh, and so when I was waiting for the nurse or somebody to take the vaccine, I flip through my Public Speaking textbook. I haven't been studying it since midterm!! Better get started bit by bit. I seem hardworking and serious, I assume, since the manager(?) there walked towards me and ask me what was I reading. She was a friendly middle-aged lady, the kind of person who you can feel that she is devoting her life to something meaningful, and she would really like to see anyone from the younger generation succeed. So I talked to her for a while, answered a few questions that I have answered a thousand times i.e. Where are you furthering your studies, what is your major, when are you going, so on and so forth. And she is so encouraging! Keep praising me for knowing what I want to do LOL. But yeah, after I talked to her, I am really motivated to live my life the way I want it to and live it to the fullest!! Hahaha..

One more hour before class starts, what should we do? :) Waiting for bf to come back from Perth, he's coming back today!! So that means I can meet him tomorrow, after soooooo long. But I can't say anything, since I am living to the US soon and I'll only be back after at least a year :( can't imagine how much I'll miss everyone here!! Even my mum's naughty tuition students. I sure miss them calling "jie jie jie jie" and annoying me, lol.

And I really lost my corn-shaped pen drive *sob sob* now i only have one pity old and 4GB one, haiyor. Sine I have no new photos to post, just wanna let you look at these, the photos I included in my slides for my public speaking persuasive speech.

The earth is ill :( Like one of my classmate said, the earth gave us everything but we did not give her anything or do anything for her in return!! So people, let's do something? :)

And livestock really contributes A LOT to the dying of the earth. They produce methane, which has so much higher warming power than CO2!! And imagine the trucks transporting the chicken and the pork and the lamb from the farm to somewhere else. These trucks produce CO, CO2 and some other gasses that you all know. Harmful ones.

So we should really so something to save the earth!! My solution is: Go vegetarian people! :D Vegetarian meal is actually very yummy, and very healthy! Take it once in a while!
See? So cute!! <3

Haha yup those are my main points for my persuasive speech :P Suddenly keep blogging lol. I'm just too free!!

Kay, it was a long post, better stop here! See ya soon! ;D

Sigh of relief

Persuasive speech is over, calculus 3 test 3 is over, but I don’t even the tiniest bit of happiness. HAIYOR. Can’t possibly feel happy when you screwed up a 20% test right? I mean… Fine, I’ll start with the speech.

Persuasive speech is one of the assignment of COM110: Essentials of Public Speaking and I would say it’s the most important one due to it’s weightage. 15% for the written speech and 15% for oral! How on earth is it not important right.. So I spent around a week preparing it: Doing the questionnaire, typing the speech, memorizing it, preparing the slides… I have some really kind-hearted friend who read through my spe ech and helped me make it better! I value each and every one of their suggestions and so, thank you so much, you know who you are <3 But the bad thing is, I save all my work in my pendrive. Ummm wait, only the slides and video. My speech I have a copy in my computer. So my speech was today. And yesterday, I was in the CAE, trying to show my friend when to help me change my slides. And I just left my pendrive plugged in and went home –.- how smart is that huh. Lucky I realize the night before! Quickly redo everything.

On the day itself, which is today, I was the second one to give my speech. Not really super super nervous, but the nervousness was there and you can feel the heart pounding, you know. So when the first guy finished, I went up there, vomit out everything that I had memorized, missed some parts and get over it. And  when I went back to my seat, my lecturer asked:”Where’s your second visual aid?” But I thought video is the second visual aid! She said video is same as slides, both under multimedia so she penalize me for that. If not I might have gotten full marks. Another wasted Z.Z.Z. So I got 23.5 out of 25. Most of my comments are good, like “good intro”, “you know your speech, good”, “good attitude” and so on.. The only negative one is “2nd visual??” T_T

After lunch, spent around 3 hours preparing for cal 3 test. So stressful right, 2 important things in one day. Sigh. I don’t usually look through the whole test paper before I start tho. I just.. start. Haha. So the 1st question was okay, so was the 2nd and the third (I think) but the 4th 5th and 6th I totally gave up. 20%. I don’t understand! The lecturer cant teach, but the questions he set are so freaking hard! What is the logic behind this?????

Anyway, kind of relieved right now cause this 2 BIG things are over. Can have a good night sleep tonight!
